Lifepoint Church – Mission Trip Opportunities

October 22, 2026

Why Do We Go?

At Lifepoint Church, our mission trips are rooted in scripture and driven by two main callings:

  • The Great Commandment (Matthew 22:35): Love God and Love People
  • The Great Commission (Matthew 28): Make Disciples

Major European City

  • When: Saturday, July 3 – Tuesday, July 13
  • What: Our work is focused on sharing the Gospel with unreached people groups. We join with believers from all over the US and the world to pass out Bible resources on the streets, with a view towards sharing the Gospel.
  • Who: This trip is both safe and fun. Children are welcome, though children under 10 might struggle with the trip. We will do quite a bit of walking, but we have had people in their 70s thrive on this trip.
  • Required Prep: We will meet 2–3 times to pray, connect as a team, and go over our prep assignments (learning about local culture and evangelism). You will need your passport.
  • Registration Deadline: The trip is coordinated by our friends from West Ave. Baptist Church in NC. A $250 deposit and application is due by March 1st. This allows us to begin booking flights and hotels.
  • Cost: Final cost depends on airfare, but $3,500–$3,700 is a very good estimate.

Chile (Coquimbo)

  • When: April 7–15, 2027
  • What: Focused on supporting and encouraging our partner church (La Fuente de Vida) in Coquimbo, Chile. We engage in prayer walking, church training, evangelism, and passing out eyeglasses.
  • Who: Safe and fun trip on the Pacific coast of Chile. Wonderful for anyone who loves encouraging other believers in their ongoing ministry. Spanish is helpful but not required (interpreters provided).
  • Required Prep: 2–3 meetings to pray, connect as a team, and learn about Chilean culture and evangelism. Passport required.
  • Registration Deadline: $250 deposit and application due by December 1st.
  • Cost: Estimated $2,200–$2,500 depending on airfare.

Brooklyn, NY

  • When: Summer 2027 (Typically late August)
  • What: Supporting our partner church (The Bridge Church) in Brooklyn, NY. We help them host a large BBQ/picnic for their church family (doing nearly all setup, cleanup, and cooking), prayer walking, light cleaning/projects, and serving at a local food pantry to organize and distribute food.
  • Who: Safe, fun, and ideal for anyone with a heart for service who loves big cities (Note: requires a lot of walking!).
  • Required Prep: Very little required prep.
  • Registration Deadline: $250 deposit and application due by June 1, 2027.
  • Cost: Typically between $1,050–$1,250.

Boca Raton, FL

  • When: TBD (Likely 2028)
  • What: Supporting our partner church (Radiant City Church) in Boca Raton, FL. Activities include hosting an evangelistic block party (passing out door hangers), prayer walking, and light cleaning/projects.
  • Who: A “mission trip-cation” staying on or near the beach—working about half the time and playing/relaxing half the time. Great for families, even with young children!
  • Required Prep: Very little required prep.
  • Registration Deadline: TBD based on when the trip takes place.
  • Cost: Very flexible cost options (you can drive or fly, and stay on the coast or further inland). Hotel on the beach typically ~$215/night.
